Do I need an appointment for EZMED urgent care?

Does EZMED treat children?
Yes. EZMED evaluates many common pediatric illnesses and minor injuries. The appropriate setting depends on the child’s age, symptoms and severity.
Can urgent care perform laboratory testing?
Selected on-site laboratory and point-of-care testing may be available when clinically appropriate. Some testing may need to be sent to an outside laboratory.
Can urgent care prescribe antibiotics?
A provider may prescribe antibiotics when an evaluation indicates a bacterial infection for which an antibiotic is medically appropriate. Antibiotics do not treat viral illnesses.
Can I come in for a possible fracture?
Selected possible minor fractures may be initially evaluated in urgent care. Major trauma, open fractures, severe deformity, circulation or sensation problems, or other serious injuries may require emergency care.
Can I use telehealth instead?
Some stable concerns may be appropriate for telehealth. If a hands-on examination, testing, imaging or a procedure is needed, an in-person visit may be recommended.
