EZMED's Virtual Urgent Care Across Maryland is designed for eligible patients who are physically located in Maryland at the time of the visit. Virtual care can be useful when a hands-on examination is not immediately necessary, whether the patient is at home, at work, or elsewhere in the state.
According to HHS, telehealth allows patients to connect with healthcare providers by computer, tablet, or smartphone without traveling to an office. EZMED combines this virtual access with in-person urgent care in Timonium when testing, procedures, or a physical examination are needed.

What do I need for a video visit?
Use a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a reliable internet connection, camera and microphone. Choose a private, well-lit location and have your medication list and symptom history ready.
Can a telehealth visit lead to a prescription?
A provider may prescribe medication when clinically appropriate and legally permitted. A telehealth appointment does not guarantee a prescription, antibiotic, controlled medication, or refill.
